A rare conversation between Ramkrishna Paramahansa & Swami Vivekananda.

A rare conversation between Ramkrishna Paramahansa & Swami Vivekananda  READ IT LOUD TO FAMILY, it's one of  the best message I have come across....

1. Swami Vivekanand:- I can’t find free time. Life has become hectic.

Ramkrishna Paramahansa:- Activity gets you busy. But productivity gets you free.

2. Swami Vivekanand:- Why has life become complicated now?

Ramkrishna Paramahansa:- Stop analyzing life.. It makes it complicated. Just live it.

3. Swami Vivekanand:- Why are we then constantly unhappy?

Ramkrishna Paramahansa:- Worrying has become your habit. That’s why you are not happy.

4. Swami Vivekanand:- Why do good people always suffer?

Ramkrishna Paramahansa:- Diamond cannot be polished without friction. Gold cannot be purified without fire. Good people go through trials, but don’t suffer.
With that experience their life becomes better, not bitter.

5. Swami Vivekanand:- You mean to say such experience is useful?

Ramkrishna Paramahansa:- Yes. In every term, Experience is a hard teacher. She gives the test first and the lessons later.

6. Swami Vivekanand:- Because of so many problems, we don’t know where we are heading…

Ramkrishna Paramahansa:- If you look outside you will not know where you are heading. Look inside. Eyes provide sight. Heart provides the way.

7. Swami Vivekanand:- Does failure hurt more than moving in the right direction?

Ramkrishna Paramahansa:- Success is a measure as decided by others. Satisfaction is a measure as decided by you.

8. Swami Vivekanand:- In tough times, how do you stay motivated?

Ramkrishna Paramahansa:- Always look at how far you have come rather than how far you have to go. Always count your blessing, not what you are missing.

9. Swami Vivekanand:- What surprises you about people?

Ramkrishna Paramahansa:- When they suffer they ask, “why me?” When they prosper, they never ask “Why me?”

10. Swami Vivekanand:- How can I get the best out of life?

Ramkrishna Paramahansa:- Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear.

11. Swami Vivekanand:- One last question. Sometimes I feel my prayers are not answered.

Ramkrishna Paramahansa:- There are no unanswered prayers. Keep the faith and drop the fear. Life is a mystery to solve, not a problem to resolve. Trust me. Life is wonderful if you know how to live..

Life is not Perfect. Life is not easy. Life is Good!

Brothers who cofounded a $100 million company say this question their mom asked every night at dinner is what inspired their business

Natalie Walters
Dec. 17, 2015

Bert and John Jacobs, the brothers who cofounded the $100 million Life Is Good T-shirt company, grew up the youngest of six children in a lower middle-class family in Boston.

When the brothers were in elementary school, their parents were in a near-death car accident from which their mother managed to escape with just a few broken bones — but their father lost the use of his right hand.

The stress and frustration from his physical therapy caused him to develop a harsh temper, they explain in their new book "Life Is Good."

"He did a lot of yelling when we were in grade school,"  And life certainly wasn't perfect.

"There were often difficult things happening around the house,"

But their mom, Joan, still believed life was good.

So, every night as the family sat around the dinner table, she would ask her six kids to tell her something good that happened that day.

"As simple as mom's words were, they changed the energy in the room,"

"Before we knew it, we were all riffing on the best, funniest, or most bizarre part of our day."

John says that this daily exercise prevented them from developing a victim's mentality of "Oh, you wouldn't believe this horrible thing that happened to me today."

Instead of griping about a teacher or homework assignment, he says that they would be laughing about a silly haircut a classmate got that day, or a neat project they worked on at school.

"That optimism was something that our family always had, even when we had little else,".

Growing up with a mother like theirs —
one who sang in the kitchen,
told animated stories,
and acted out children's books for them,

no matter what bad situation they were going through — taught them an important lesson: Being happy isn't dependent on your circumstances.

"She showed us that optimism is a courageous choice you can make every day, especially in the face of adversity."

They say her unwavering positive outlook on life is what inspired Life Is Good — their $100 million company the mission of which is to spread the power of optimism, with the tagline,

"Life is not perfect. Life is not easy. Life is good."

Since their mother's daily question served them so well in life,

John says he and his brother now ask their employees the same thing when they all come together

"Tell me something good" — and the results have been positive.

"It leads to ideas, which lead to progress, which leads to building on successes, instead of dwelling on challenges," he explains.

*Life is beautiful, because you are a wonderful person*

You Can Do It - It's Possible!

Good morning...
Stay positive...๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŒท

Staying Grounded.

Mother  is  flying  a  kite.
Her son is watching her carefully.

After some time son says "mom.
Because of the string the kite is not able to go any further higher.

"Hearing this, the mother smiles and breaks the string.
The kite goes higher and then shortly after that,
it comes and falls on the ground.

The child is very dejected and sad.

The mother sits next to him and calmly explains:
"Son, in life we reach a certain level and then we feel that there are certain things that are not letting us grow any further like Home, Family, Friends, Culture etc.

We feel we want to be  free from those strings which we believe are stopping us from going higher.

But, remember son."That our home , family, friends and culture are the things that will help us stay stable at the high heights .

If we try to break away from those strings our condition will be similar to the kite."we'll fall down soon..

Moral:
"Never  go  away  from  Home  Culture,  Family, Friends  and  Relationships as they help keep us stable while we are flying high..."

Heavenly hosts.

An unemployed graduate woke up one morning and checked his pocket. All he had left was $10. He decided to use it to buy food and then wait for death as he was too proud to go begging.. He was frustrated as he could find no job, and nobody was ready to help him.

He bought food and as he sat down to eat, an old man and two little children came along and asked him to help them with food as they had not eaten for almost a week. He looked at them. They were so lean that he could see their bones coming out. Their eyes had gone into the socket. With the last bit of compassion he had, he gave them the food. The old man and children prayed that God would bless and prosper him and then gave him a very old coin. The young graduate said to them 'you need the prayer more than I do'.

With no money, no job, no food, the young graduate went under the bridge to rest and wait for death. As he was about to sleep, he saw an old newspaper on the ground. He picked it up, and suddenly he saw an advertisement for people with old coins to come to a certain address.

He decided to go there with the old coin the old man gave him. On getting to the place, he gave the proprietor the coin. The proprietor screamed, brought out a big book and showed the young graduate a photograph. This same old coin was worth 3 million dollars. The young graduate was overjoyed as the proprietor gave him a bank draft for 3 million dollars within an hour. He collected the Bank Draft and went in search of the old man and little children. By the time he got to where he left them eating, they had gone.

He asked the owner of the canteen if he knew them. He said no but they left a note for you. He quickly opened the note thinking it would lead him to find them. This is what the note said: 'You gave us your all and we have rewarded you back with the coin,' signed The heavenly hosts..

A moments hesitation can cost us your greatest victory.

Neil Armstrong, he is the 1st person to set his foot in moon.

But, do you know who was supposed to be the 1st person?  Many don't know...

His name is Edwin C Aldarin...
He was the pilot for the Apollo mission. He was working for the American Airforce. Moreover he had experience of space walking, hence selected as the pilot.

Neil Armstrong worked for the American Navy. He was selected for his courage as co-pilot.

When the Apollo mission landed on moon, they received a command from NASA, "pilot first".

But Aldarin was hesitant, "what will happen", "will I get sucked in or will I burn out", etc. The hesitation was not for hours, but few seconds.

In the meantime, NASA sent the next command, "co-pilot next".

Within next second, Neil Armstrong put his foot on the moon & became part of world history.

World history was changed in 1 second... Though Aldarin had the qualification and talent, because of hesitation, he is not recognised by many people.

The world remembers only person who comes first...
This is a good example of how people lose out because of hesitation & fear. *Whenever you see the moon, remember this*, a moments hesitation can stop us from our *greatest victory*.

*We all have great potential* in us, the only thing that stops us from achieving what we are supposed to achieve is our hesitation, fear and shyness.

Many people are shy to ask, shy to appreciate others, & some are shy to share this message. If we fail to do the right things, we will most likely do the wrong things.

Avoid hesitation.

Corporate Jungle...

Two Managers were walking through a jungle.
They saw a hungry tiger.
One of the guys started tightening his shoe laces, getting ready to run.
The other asked, "Do you really think you can run faster than the tiger?"
He replied, "I don't have to run faster than the tiger; I just have to run faster than you!!"

That's today's CORPORATE WINS

Why walk is necessary?

Why walk is necessary ?

Ever wondered what happens to your body when you start walking?

Here's a minute-by   -minute rundown of the amazing chain reaction walking and exercise has upon your body, it's truly amazing!

Minutes 1 to 5

Your first few steps trigger the release of energy-producing chemicals in your cells to fuel your walk. Your heart rate revs-up from about 70 to 100 beats per minute (bpm), boosting blood-flow and warming muscles.

Any stiffness subsides as joints release lubricating fluid to help you move more easily. As you get moving, your body burns 5 calories per minute, compared with only 1 per minute at rest. Your body needs more fuel and starts pulling from its carbohydrates and fat stores.

Minutes 6 to 10

Heartbeat increases and you're burning up to 6 calories a minute as you pick up the pace. A slight rise in blood pressure is countered by the release of chemicals that expand blood vessels, bringing more blood and oxygen to working muscles.

Minutes 11 to 20

Your body temperature keeps rising, and you start to perspire as blood vessels near the skin expand to release heat. As your walk becomes brisker, you'll be burning up to 7 calories a minute and breathing harder. Hormones such as epinephrine and glucagon rise to release fuel to the muscles.

Minutes 21 to 45

Feeling invigorated, you start to relax as your body releases tension, thanks in part to a dose of feel-good chemicals such as endorphins in your brain. As more fat is burned, insulin (which helps store fat) drops--excellent news for anyone battling excess weight or diabetes.

Minutes 46 to 60

Your muscles may feel fatigued as carbohydrates stores are reduced. As you cool down, your heart rate decreases and your breathing slows. You'll be burning fewer calories but more than you were before you started. Your calorie burn will remain elevated for up to 1 hour.

All this happens without a single conscious thought from us - the human body is amazing.

The Real Crux of Reliance Jio.

While there are many who are commenting about the good and bad sides of Reliance jio for the Indian masses, very few are acknowledging the real power and magnanimity of Reliance Jio, So I wanted to add my 25 Cents to the comments. This ofcourse are my personal thoughts.

Reliance Industries has invested over Rs 150,000 crore in its 4G internet and telecom venture, Jio.

Digitisation is the defining trend of this century. In fact, that is the very reason that Reliance conceived Jio. It is one of the largest transformational green-field digital initiatives anywhere in the world.

From existing 15-20%, Jio would help the industry coverage of the country reach over 90%. US is 75%.

Jio is not just a telecom network. It is an entire ecosystem consisting of devices, broadband networks, powerful applications and services, distributed to every doorstep in India.

Its offerings includes the most comprehensive libraries and programming of recorded and live music, sports, live and catchup television, movies and events.

Thus this project is not directly comparable with any other player or project in the true sense.

Jio has mapped every building footprint in the country with all attributes, that can be used for Jio and other businesses. Nobody in the world has this kind of powerful geographic information system that has all relevant information on India.

Jio uses latest and upgradable Telecom and related technologies.

The sheer size and scope of the project is unmatched not only in India but also in the world.

Lets first salute Reliance for imagining and doing the Impossible. Let the market forces decide about prices and other teething issues. Atleast the citizens will benefit for sure as new benchmarks for quality, services and prices will prevail.

Hope your 25 Cents are of value to you. Cheers.

Going Beyond your Duty!

A man was asked to paint a boat.

He brought with him paint and brushes and began to paint the boat a bright red, as the owner asked him.
While painting, he realized there was a hole in the hull and decided to repair it.
When finished painting, he received his money and left.
The next day, the owner of the boat came to the painter and presented him with a nice check, much higher than the payment for painting.
The painter was surprised:
- You've already paid me for painting the boat!
- he said.
- But this is not for the  paint job.

It's for having repaired the hole in the boat.

- Ah! But it was such a small service ... certainly it's not worth paying me such a high amount for something so insignificant!
My dear friend, you do not understand. Let me tell you what happened. *When I asked you to paint the boat, I forgot to mention about the hole.
When the boat dried, my kids took the boat and went on a fishing trip.
They did not know that there was a hole.
I was not at home at that time.
When I returned and noticed they had taken the boat, I was desperate because I remembered that the boat had a hole.

Imagine my relief and joy when I saw them returning from fishing.

Then, I examined the boat and found that you had repaired the hole! You see, now, what you did? You saved the life of my children! I do not have enough money to pay your "small" good deed.

๐Ÿ’™ So, no matter who, when or how. Just continue to help, sustain, wipe tears, listen attentively and carefully repair all the "leaks" you find, because you never know when one is in need of us or when God holds a pleasant surprise for us to be helpful and important to someone.
You may have repaired numerous "boat holes" along the way, of several people without realizing how many lives you've saved.

Ans: Yes. Lie down comfortably and put an aspirin tablet of any description under the tongue and ask someone to take you to the nearest coronary care unit without any delay and do not wait for the ambulance since most of the time, the ambulance does not turn up.

Qn28. Do, in any way, low white blood cells and low hemoglobin count lead to heart problems?

Ans: No. But it is ideal to have normal hemoglobin level to increase your exercise capacity.

Qn34. Does dispirin or similar headache pills increase the risk of heart attacks?

Ans : No.

Qn35. Why is the rate of heart attacks more in men than in women?

Roti, Kapada, Makaan, Bijlee aur Bandwidth!

Long back when Internet was not even heard of by the common man, This is what the Visionary Dewang Mehta of NASSCOM said - "Roti, Kapada, Makaan, Bijlee aur Bandwidth".

JIO, Airtel, Idea, Vodafone...is making it a reality for India today. Indeed a fitting tribute to Dewang and his dreams.

I still remember the initial days of Internet in India where only a handful of people used the Internet. Even the largest of Corporates were scared and skeptical about setting up a website or putting up a few pages about their company on the Internet. Todays generation is poles apart and may not be able to even imagine about the past.  The same way people could not believe in the past that Internet will be an integral part of our lives.

Cheers to a truely Digital India.

Slow Dance.

This poem was written by a terminally ill young girl in a
New York Hospital. It was sent by a medical doctor,

SLOW DANCE !

Have you ever watched kids on a merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?
Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?

You better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.

Do you run through each day on the fly?
When you ask, “How are you?”
Do you hear the reply?

When the day is done, do you lie in your bed,
with the next hundred chores running through your head?

You'd better slow down
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short
The music won't last.

Ever told your child,
We'll do it tomorrow?
And in your haste,
Not see his sorrow?

Ever lost touch, let a good friendship die
Cause you never had time
To call and say,'Hi'

You'd better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last..

When you run so fast to get somewhere,
You miss half the fun of getting there.

When you worry and hurry through your day,
It is like an unopened gift....
Thrown away.

Life is not a race.
Do take it slower
Hear the music
Before the song is over.

This young girl had 6 months left to live, and as her dying wish, she wanted to send a letter telling everyone to live their life to the fullest, since she never will.
She'll never make it to prom, graduate from high school,
or get married and have a family of her own, but wanted to make a difference to the world out there.

The other side of Life.

You may be missing the other side of Life completely!

A father was reading his favourite magazine and his little son was every
now and then distracting him. Trying to keep his son busy, he tore out one page on which was printed map of the world. He then tore the page into pieces and asked him to go to his room and put them together to make the map again.

Having done this, the father was now
convinced he would read his magazine without any disturbance and also that it would take his son the whole day to get it done.

But the little one came back within two minutes with the perfect map…………

The curious and confused father asked his son how he could do it so
quickly??

He giggled and said,
“Oh…Dad, there is Sunny Leone's picture  on the other side of the paper,
I made her picture perfect to
get the map right.”
Satisfied with the answer, he ran outside to play leaving the father surprised…

Moral of the story:
In life there is always the other side to whatever you experience.
When ever we come across a challenge or puzzling situation,
Let's look at the other side, & we will be surprised to see an easy way to tackle the problem..

Simple Parenting Ideas at work!

To all parents and even grandparents, as well as teachers, here are some unbelievably simple parenting ideas that work.๐Ÿ‘‡

1. Children need a minimum of eight  touches during a day to feel connected to a parent.

If they’re going through a particularly challenging time, it’s a minimum of 12 a day. This doesn’t have to be a big deal; it could be the straightening of a collar, a pat on the shoulder or a simple hug.

2. Each day, children need one meaningful eye-to-eye conversation with a parent.

It is especially important for babies to have that eye contact, but children of all ages need us to slow down and look them in the eyes.

3. There are nine minutes during the day that have the greatest impact on a child:

the first three minutes right after they wake up
the three minutes after they come home from school
the last three minutes of the day before they go to bed
We need to make those moments special and help our children feel loved.
These are simple, right? Nothing really earth-shattering here.

Try it.
1⃣ Whenever u feel like scolding or beating your child, take a deep breath, or count 1-10 and then act.
2⃣ Let's ask them to study their favorite subject on their own..
3⃣ Send them to one exam without studying at all..
4⃣ Remember what our kids are learning in 5th std is taught to 7th std abroad..
5⃣ Lets keep our kids out of unwanted competition.
6⃣ 80% of what kids are learning ,won't be useful to them in future..
7⃣ Our kids can really afford to do whatever they want to do in future .
8⃣ Higher degrees don't guaranty success and happiness..
9⃣ Not all the highly educated people do well professionally.
And not all who do well professionally are the happiest ones..
๐Ÿ”Ÿ Kids are always in a party mood.. don't spoil their childhood. Support and let them be what they want to be. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Change the way we look at our kids and their future.

You Won...Never give up!

YOU WON!!!

Biology says that after sexual intercourse, about 200-300 million sperms are deposited by the man, they all begin to swim upwards within the tract to meet with the ovum. Of the over 200 million that are deposited, only 300-500 actually reach the site (others get tired on the way because it is no small race).

And of the 300 that manage to reach the egg only one fertilises the egg, and in this case the winning one was YOU...!!!

Have you ever thought about this? You ran a race without your eyes and you won, you ran without a certificate and you won, you ran without a thump print and you won, you ran without an education, you ran without help...and you won.

What makes you think that you will lose now? Now that you have eyes, ears, hands and legs, now that you have a certificate, now that you have a plan, a dream and a vision...

You didn't give up on day one, you can't give up now, giving up now is an insult to your creator.
It doesn't matter what you see now, always remember that you WON from the womb.

#NeverGiveUp

Your Time - The Most Precious Gift.

Posting this beautiful story which has touched and inspired me
A young man learns what's most important in life from the guy next door.

It had been some time since Jack had seen the old man.  College, girls, career, and life itself got in the way. In fact, Jack moved clear across the country in pursuit of his dreams. There, in the rush of his busy life, Jack had little time to think about the past and often no time to spend with his wife and son. He was working on his future, and nothing could stop him.

Over the phone, his mother told him, "Mr. Belser died last night. The funeral is Wednesday." Memories flashed through his mind like an old newsreel as he sat quietly remembering his childhood days.

"Jack, did you hear me?" "Oh sorry, Mom. Yes, I heard you. It' s been so long since I thought of him. I'm sorry, but I honestly thought he died years ago," Jack said.

"Well, he didn't forget you. Every time I saw him he'd ask how you were doing. He'd reminisce about the many days you spent over 'his side of the fence' as he put it," Mom told him.

"I loved that old house he lived in," Jack said.

"You know, Jack, after your father died, Mr. Belser stepped in to make sure you had a man's influence in your life," she said.

"He's the one who taught me carpentry," he said. "I wouldn't be in this business if it weren't for him. He spent a lot of time teaching me things he thought were important...Mom, I'll be there for the funeral," Jack said.

As busy as he was, he kept his word. Jack caught the next flight to his hometown. Mr. Belser's funeral was small and uneventful. He had no children of his own, and most of his relatives had passed away.

The night before he had to return home, Jack and his Mom stopped by to see the old house next door one more time. Standing in the doorway, Jack paused for a moment.

It was like crossing over into another dimension, a leap through space and time. The house was exactly as he remembered. Every step held memories. Every picture, every piece of furniture....Jack stopped suddenly.

"What's wrong, Jack?" his Mom asked.

"The box is gone," he said.

"What box?" Mom asked.

"There was a small gold box that he kept locked on top of his desk. I must have asked him a thousand times what was inside. All he'd ever tell me was the thing I value most," Jack said. It was gone. Everything about the house was exactly how Jack remembered it, except for the box. He figured someone from the Belser family had taken it.

"Now I'll never know what was so valuable to him," Jack said.

"Anyways, I better get some sleep. I have an early flight home, Mom."

It had been about two weeks since Mr. Belser died. Returning home from work one day Jack discovered a note in his mailbox. "Signature required on a package. No one at home. Please stop by the main post office within the next three days," the note read.

Early the next day Jack retrieved the package. The small box was old and looked like it had been mailed a hundred years ago. The handwriting was difficult to read, but the return address caught his attention. "Mr. Harold Belser" it read.

Jack took the box out to his car and ripped open the package. There inside was the gold box and an envelope. Jack's hands shook as he read the note inside. "Upon my death, please forward this box and its contents to Jack Bennett. It's the thing I valued most in my life."

A small key was taped to the letter. His heart racing, as tears filling his eyes! Jack carefully unlocked the box. There inside he found a beautiful gold pocket watch.

Running his fingers slowly over the finely etched casing, he unlatched the cover.
Inside he found these words engraved: "Jack, Thanks for your time! - Harold Belser."

"The thing he valued most ...was ... my time."

Jack held the watch for a few minutes, then called his office and cleared his appointments for the next two days. "Why?" Janet, his assistant asked.

"I need some time to spend with my son," he said.

"Oh, by the way, Janet...thanks for your time!"

"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away,"

Think about this. You may not realize it, but it's 100% true.

1. At least 2 people in this world love you so much that they would die for you.

2. At least 15 people in this world love you in some way.

3. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don't like you.

4. Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep.

5. You mean the world to someone.

6. If not for you, someone may not be living.

7. You are special and unique.

8. When you think you have no chance of getting what you want, you probably won't get it, but if you trust God to do what's best, and wait on His time, sooner or later, you will get it or something better.

9. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good can still come from it.

10. When you think the world has turned its back on you, take a look; you most likely turned your back on the world.

11. Someone that you don't even know exists, loves you.

12. Always remember the compliments you received. Forget about the rude remarks.

13. Always tell someone how you feel about them; you will feel much better when they know and you'll both be happy.

14. If you have a great friend, take the time to let them know that they are great.

If you send this letter to all the people you care about, you will certainly brighten someone's day and might change their perspective on life... for the better.

To everyone who read this: "Thank you for your time."
THANK you for your PRESENCE in my life and of course your time.
